All but one of mine have been for 6 years (my 1st TXDL was valid for 7 for some strange reason). Not sure why some are valid for shorter lengths, perhaps age of driver makes a difference. I find it interesting that yours would have been valid for so long, had you not had MS.

Second: I don't know how it is in the UK, but in the US, you wouldn't be having your rights stripped back, you'd be having your privileges stripped back. Here, driving is a privilege, not a right.monogodohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08984785082196931235noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1750120863647373520.post-12198077100783995122010-01-14T19:31:09.690+00:002010-01-14T19:31:09.690+00:00As a point of interest, a very nice letter from th...As a point of interest, a very nice letter from the DVLA arrived this morning explaining the changes to my licence. It all sounds perfectly reasonable and well-thought through.... it's just a shame they can't put that in the same envelope as the new licence, or have it arrive at the same time, eh?swisslethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16708248700851998044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1750120863647373520.post-34450122485405483422010-01-14T00:57:06.728+00:002010-01-14T00:57:06.728+00:00You could still fly a fighter jet, you know:
