A small Christmas tree is placed in the lobby, and the town social worker places decorative "ornaments" with information about a boy or girl who otherwise wouldn't receive gifts. These include likes/dislikes, sizes, that sort of thing. I love that they do that. I can't stand the thought of children having nothing to open.<br /><br />I like your choice of gifts. Our local Barnes & Noble has all sorts of children's books in different price ranges behind the counter. When you checkout, they ask you if you'd like to purchase one for a little boy or girl. Clever idea. They've got me both times I shopped there recently, and I say that happily.
