Interpol, The Stone Roses and of course, The Smiths are huge favourites of mine. And I had a massive crush on NK as a teenager. I love Belle and Sebastian too, although have to state categorically that they are one of the worst live bands I have ever seen in my life. Oddly, I've seen them quite a few times. I always think they're going to be better. They never are.Cathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16091141519664411812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1750120863647373520.post-18288476373239101792006-10-19T09:56:00.000+01:002006-10-19T09:56:00.000+01:00Now, ever since I first dropped by your place, I&#...Now, ever since I first dropped by your place, I've always respected you as a man with fine musical tastes. It went on for ages and then they announced that Nik himself would be a guest to explain the mystery and award a prize.
It was one of those priceless moments when he announced that it was about nothing in particular....just some random stuff.
No prizes were given.bedshapedhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16770352569508978240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1750120863647373520.post-91888496768125199412006-10-19T00:22:00.000+01:002006-10-19T00:22:00.000+01:00Nowt wrong with hating Belle & Sebastian on pr...Nowt wrong with hating Belle & Sebastian on principle ;) I hate the Stone Roses for the sort of people who evangelise about that first album (yourself excluded, of course!), but I hate the album itself too.

Not afraid to admit when my prejudices turn out to be utterly unfounded and unjust - but I stand by them in both of those cases.Benhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03008553685046831301noreply@blogger.com
