I'm in love with my Kindle so far, what an exceedingly clever thing it is.Tinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13149320350209938693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1750120863647373520.post-3081081050350874462010-10-21T19:49:49.349+01:002010-10-21T19:49:49.349+01:00Thanks very much Tim, I'm looking forward to l...Thanks very much Tim, I'm looking forward to learning all about it when it arrives in a couple of days time.Tinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13149320350209938693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1750120863647373520.post-7812596028883464512010-10-20T23:30:51.135+01:002010-10-20T23:30:51.135+01:00Tina - it's not unlimited, but you can have 10...Tina - it's not unlimited, but you can have 100s of books on the device at any one time, I think. If you buy them from amazon, you can also archive them off the device and get them back as required. The gutenberg ones won't, but as they're free, just delete and download again as required.swisslethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16708248700851998044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1750120863647373520.post-67588588286374159942010-10-20T19:15:12.917+01:002010-10-20T19:15:12.917+01:00Ooh, thank you so much for this. I've just ordered a Kindle this very afternoon, mainly because of the 20kg luggage limit for our 3 week trip to India in January and also because I realised thatI could convert the points I'd been collecting on my credit card for Amazon vouchers, which was a really pleasant surprise. Does it have pretty much unlimited capacity or can you only have a few things at a time on it? (Sorry, not very techy)Tinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13149320350209938693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1750120863647373520.post-78111095879681590732010-10-20T09:57:22.360+01:002010-10-20T09:57:22.360+01:00Me too. She got hers at the end of February (on my birthday), while I got mine at the beginning of April (on her birthday). One of the main reasons she/we went with the nook over the Kindle is the ability to share books between us. Another is the fact that we can load any epub or PDF onto it.

I've found that I read much more with the nook than I did before, and I read at a faster rate. All the benefits you listed of the Kindle apply to the nook, as well.

One thing I've noticed, I haven't read an actual hard copy book since getting the nook, and I think my wife has only read one since she got hers.monogodohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08984785082196931235noreply@blogger.com
